چکیده
Pollutants derived from diesel exhaust gases are considered harmful to human health. In 2021, 23 million motor vehicles were in use, and cars accounted for 4.07% of them. Strategies involving after-treatment technologies, with gas processing incorporating a selective catalytic reaction (EGP–SCR system) engines, this study. By conducting World Harmonized Transient Cycle (WHTC) under cold start driving test, study measured pollutant emissions upstream downstream the system. Our results indicate that equipped EGP–SCR catalysts as after treatment device can eliminate particles regulated pollutants engine out emissions. LMW g-PAHs (two- three-ring PAHs) provided largest contribution emissions, accounting more than 90% total PAHs. After was applied, identified highest reduction followed by MMW HMW g-PAHs. It is noteworthy that, p-PAHs related decrease particulate matter (PM2.5) when SCR rate 56.7% be observed. However, low temperature leads activity catalyst being reduced, it thus not capable decomposing PAHs effectively. The ILCR values 1.93 × 10-3 1.45 adults children, respectively, indicating potential health risk data reveal system effectively decline help avoid inhalation carcinogenic substances (PM2.5). Moreover, create serious hazards, cannot suppressed condition.

Rotating injector in DI diesel engine for improving performance and reducing NOx emission
Oxides of Nitrogen are the major emission from a diesel engine. It is due to heterogeneous diffusion combustion system with fuel-rich regions, which produce high local temperature around the periphery of the spray where high formation rate of NO is promoted. Various techniques are therefore employed to reduce the NOX emission like EGR, SCR, etc. In this present work a rotating injector is a tec...
متن کاملThree-Dimensional Modeling of Combustion Process, Soot and NOx formation In a Direct-injection Diesel Engine
This paper is presented to study the combustion process and emissions in a direct injection diesel engine. Computations are carried out using a three-dimensional model for flows, sprays, combustion and emissions in Diesel engines. Interactions between combustion and emissions with flow field are considered and it is shown that soot mass fraction increases at regions with low turbulence inten...
متن کاملPerformance and Emission Characteristics of a Diesel Engine with Cottonseed Oil Plus Diesel Oil Blends
aIn the present study a 4-stroke 5hp diesel engine was tested with Diesel oil plus cottonseed oil blends. The blends in different proportions (10 to 50 percent by volume) were tested at constant speed of 1500 rpm. The said engine is operated at different loads and characteristics like Brake power, Brake thermal efficiency, specific fuel consumption etc. Engine performance for blends resulted in...
متن کاملEmission Reduction Strategies for Small Single Cylinder Diesel Engine Using Valve Timing and Swirl Ratio
Small diesel engines are widely used for commercial vehicle and passenger car applications due to their higher torque requirements, fuel economy, and better thermal efficiency. These engines are exposed to different operating and environmental conditions and hence emissions from these engines are erratic. Strategies are required to enhance performance and reduce engine-out emissions considering...
